What material is PP sheet metal and what use are there

PP board uses a lot of, because of green environmental protection, so very popular. Whether in industry or in China, the use of PP sheet is very much, like the use of PP tube. As for PP boards, it has replaced many other boards in the construction industry. So, plank is a kind of what material, what use is there?

1.PP industrial sheet, including wire and cable packaging protection, glass, steel, various articles packaging protection, as well as the substrate, shelf, partition, bottom plate, etc.

2. Protection of electronic industry. Conductive packaging products are mainly used for integrated circuit chips, integrated circuit packaging, testing, thin film transistor liquid crystal display, optoelectronics and other electronic components packaging. The purpose is to prevent other electrically charged objects from touching them, since spark damage to parts is caused by charge friction.

3. Protector board. The guard board used before may be made of cardboard. However, with the development of economy and the progress of science and technology, the use of polypropylene board has increasingly replaced the use of cardboard.

Plate is made of clay and other inorganic non-metallic materials made of plate ceramic products, made of high temperature calcination. PP sheet has great advantages in energy saving and material saving. Compared with similar products, the consumption of building ceramic materials per unit area of polypropylene board can be reduced by more than one time and resources can be saved by more than 60%.

PP sheet is actually a semi-crystalline material, harder than PE board, melting point is higher. To solve this problem, manufacturers add 1% to 4% random copolymer ethylene to PP during the production process. The material has very low thermal deformation temperature, low transparency, low gloss and low rigidity. But even stronger is the impact strength.

The strength of polypropylene material increases with the increase of ethylene content. Because of the high crystallinity, the surface hardness and abrasion resistance of polypropylene material are good. There is no environmental stress cracking problem in PP sheet. The sheet can be modified by adding glass fiber and metal additives or thermoplastic rubber. Under the influence of crystallization, the shrinkage rate of the plate is quite high, generally 1.8~2.5%, the directional uniformity of the contraction is much better than PE and other materials. PP material has excellent hygroscopic resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance and solubility.
