Comparative study on structure and properties of sheet grade ABS resin

The structure and properties of three kinds of sheet grade acrylonitrile-butadiene-butadiene plastics (ABS) in China were analyzed statistically by means of destructive strength tester, differential scanning calorimeter and melt strength tester. The data show that the distance between the structural mechanical properties of the three kinds of sheet ABS products is not too large. The fluidity and particle size of sample 2~# are the best, while the structural mechanical properties of sample 1~# and sample 3~# are slightly stronger. In addition, the glass transition temperatures of the three kinds of sheet ABS products are all about 110℃. In general, the three kinds of ABS resins have very good anti-sag properties, which can be used in the production and processing of plates, pipes and other commodities. Among them, the melt strength of 1~# sample is larger, and the melt strength of 2~# sample is at least. After three times of recycling and reuse, the performance reduction range of the three ABS products is slightly different. The reduction range of 2~# sample is at least 3.87%, but the final structural mechanical properties of the products are very good.
